Refund policy

General Policy

At Benford Powersports, we’re committed to customer satisfaction and stand behind the products we sell. Most items are eligible for return within 90 days of purchase, provided they meet the criteria below.

Return Requirements

To qualify for a return, the product must be:

  • Accompanied by a valid Return Authorization Number (see instructions below);
  • Returned within 90 days of the original purchase date;
  • In new, unused condition, and shipped back in original packaging.

Non-Returnable or Limited Return Items

The following are exceptions to our standard return policy:

  • Custom or made-to-order products (such as A-arms with pressed-in ball joints or mounted wheels/tires) may be accepted for return with a minimum 30% restocking fee.
  • Special order items (such as hand-held ECU tuners) are non-returnable.
  • Windshields and polycarbonate roofs that have had the protective film removed from either side are not eligible for return.
  • Products that are missing components, have been modified, or are not in original packaging may be subject to a minimum 30% restocking fee, if accepted.

Refunds & Store Credit

Returned items that meet policy conditions are eligible for:

  • A refund to the original payment method; or
  • A store credit, which may be issued at our discretion and may qualify for a reduced restocking fee.

Refunds are generally issued within 3 business days after the item is received and inspected. Banks may take additional time to reflect the refund in your account. If your original payment method is no longer active, we will issue a check to the original billing name and address.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, unless the return is approved due to a fulfillment error on our part. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Exceptions

If we ship an incorrect item or make an error with your order, we will cover all associated return shipping and restocking fees. If you're unsure whether your item qualifies for return, contact us before returning it.

Restocking Fee Guidelines

  • Custom-made parts: 30% restocking fee (if new and able to resell)
  • Refused deliveries: 15% restocking fee + $20 per package
  • Incorrectly ordered items: 15% restocking fee or more depending on condition
  • Buyer's remorse (no defect or mistake): 15% restocking fee or more
  • Store credit may be offered in place of a refund and may reduce your restocking fee

Final Return Determination

All returns are subject to review, and final acceptance or denial of a return is at the sole discretion of Benford Powersports.

To begin the return process, email us with the following information:

  • Full Name
  • Order Number
  • Items you wish to return
  • Clear reason for the return
