Benford Powersports Warranty Policy

Applicable to SuperATV Products and Other Respective Brands

JPB Powersports & Small Engine Repair LLC dba (Doing Business As) Benford Powersports provides warranty coverage on SuperATV products and other respective brands sold through Benford Powersports, in accordance with the original manufacturer’s warranty terms. Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser and begins on the date of purchase.

All warranties cover manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship only. Normal wear and tear is not covered.

Warranty Duration by Product Category

Suspension and Steering

  • A-Arms: Lifetime
  • A-Arm Bushings: 90 Days
  • Ball Joints – Standard Duty: 90 Days
  • Ball Joints – Heavy Duty: 1 Year
  • Ball Joints – Super Duty: Lifetime
  • Ball Joints – Keller: Lifetime
  • Tie Rod Ends: 30 Days

Drivetrain and Axles

  • Axle – ADR: 1 Year (manufacturer defect only)
  • Axle – Rhino: 1 Year (see Replacement Fee Policy)
  • Axle – Rhino 2.0: 18 Months (see Replacement Fee Policy)
  • Axle – X300 / Phoenix: 3 Years
  • CV Joints & Boots: No Warranty
  • Drive Belts: 1 Year

Differentials

  • Complete Differentials: 18 Months
  • Differential Cases: 18 Months
  • Sprague Carriers: Lifetime
  • Armature Plates: 90 Days
  • Ring and Pinion: 90 Days

Transmissions

  • Full Transmissions: 90 Days

General Warranty Statement

Benford Powersports warrants that SuperATV products and other respective brands sold are free from manufacturing defects during the applicable warranty period when used under normal conditions.

This warranty becomes null and void if damage is caused by:

  • Misuse, abuse, or accidents
  • Improper installation or use of improper tools
  • Unauthorized modifications or accessories
  • Exposure to harsh weather, road debris, chemicals, or contaminants
  • Lack of proper maintenance
  • Racing or commercial use where not intended
  • Unauthorized repairs
  • Removal, alteration, or damage to serial numbers or identification labels

Benford Powersports is not responsible for incidental, consequential, or special damages. All implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Product-Specific Warranty Conditions

Ball Joints

Does not cover damage from accidents, misuse, improper installation, racing, commercial use, or lack of maintenance. Wear items such as seals, bearings, bushings, boots, and rotors are excluded.

Differentials

Only approved gear oil may be used. Failure to properly fill and maintain lubrication will void warranty coverage. Bearings, seals, and gaskets are excluded. Inspection may result in a replacement fee if damage is not determined to be a manufacturing defect.

Transmissions

Coverage applies only to defects present at time of shipment. Misapplication, improper installation, abuse, neglect, or modifications will void coverage. A repair fee may apply if outside warranty terms.

Portal Gear Lifts

Only approved 80W-90 gear oil may be used. Grease use will void the warranty. Bearings, seals, gaskets, and rotors are excluded. Inspection determines warranty eligibility. Replacement fees may apply.

Turn Signal Kits

Warranty does not apply to damage caused by improper installation, unauthorized modifications, impacts, crashes, abuse, or water intrusion into electrical components. Warranty applies to the original purchaser only.

Replacement Fee Policy

  • Rhino Axles (excluding boots): Free replacement within 60 days. $50 replacement fee after 60 days and within the first year.
  • Rhino 2.0 Axles (excluding boots): Free replacement within 60 days. $50 replacement fee after 60 days and within 18 months.
  • Phoenix / X300 Axles (excluding boots): $100 replacement fee within the 3-year warranty period. Replacement may be used as many times as needed during the original warranty period. Damage from lack of maintenance is not covered (including running with a damaged boot and/or no grease).
  • Prop Shafts: Free replacement within 60 days. $75 replacement fee after 60 days within the warranty period.

Proof of purchase and proof of failure are required for all replacement claims.

Warranty Claim Procedure

To initiate a warranty claim through Benford Powersports:

  • Warranty applies to the original purchaser only
  • Proof of purchase is required
  • Items must be returned for inspection within 30 days of claim approval
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping and tracking
  • Warranty determinations are made after inspection

Some products may carry manufacturer-direct warranties. In those cases, Benford Powersports will assist in directing customers to the appropriate manufacturer.

Legal Notice

State and federal laws may provide additional rights. Some states do not allow limitations on incidental or consequential damages, so certain exclusions may not apply.
